My first full-length album. The initial concept came from the Cueva de las Manos, or "Cave of Hands", a site in Argentina containing roughly 9,000 year old paleolithic art; one of the earliest examples of humans saying "we are here". The first song, "What We Would Become", encapsulates the infinite possibilities that those people faced at the start of their existence and all the ways in which they could change and shape the world around them. The songs that follow are meant to show small snapshots of their collective lives. Stories they told, art they created, places they traveled, people they loved; a catalogue of a lifetime's experiences. The final song, "What We Once Were", offers a look back at what they left behind and the marks they left on the planet they once made their home.
